Same here. Just got off the phone with an event rental biz. They have had 6 cancellation in the last 2 days. Not going to be a good for a couple of months.

i'm sure the sanitation biz is just booming at the moment

those gojo/purell and germ-x corporate and retail sales folks are likely raking in the fricking cash at the moment

and i hope they're not capping commissions

sales baws

Like the O&G baws, they make bank most of the time, so they should be saving for a rain day or month in this case.

Most of my work is DoD, national defense and defense systems for critical infrastructure. My stuff takes years of developmental work anyway, so I'm always feast or famine based on allocation of funding and approval of programs. Many of these programs and sales I'm working on now, somebody else down the road will reap the benefit of, not me. I'll be retired (although recent events make that a little later than sooner!) Just always save for a rainy day.

My wife is a worldwide known expert in her technology field, and regularly speaks at events and online seminars on behalf of her employer. She's the closer they bring in to haul it into the boat because the sales guy isn't technical enough to know how to close the loop and bring in the order, but is good enough to reel it in close so she can close the deal.
