Guy took almost 20 seconds to bust the door down while his fellow officers just stood there and watched lol.

A good battering ram guy can take down a door with one hit. That is necessary because you don't want to give the people on the other side of the door a chance to grab their guns.

I don't get fat cops and why there are so many. Does local law enforcement not have any standard so you don't look like a complete slob in uniform?

I don’t know any departments that are fully staffed and turning away applicants right now.standards are being relaxed in order to get people to apply

I used to work at a pipeline company and when we got slow we would fabricate things in the shop for people. We fabricated a bunch of those battering rams one year. If you can't knock down a door in one hit with those things, you should be fired.

They have fitness requirements for hiring, but once you’re in it is pretty damned hard to fire one of these guys - strong fricking unions.
