Ask him where all the BLM folks were over the wkend. I did not see of those shirts on the folks who were working 9-10-11 hrs a day slogging through the waters rescuing both white & black folks in need of help.

Gary may have a point with all of this.
Was in line at the store Monday the black guy behind me was complaining about how he was not rescued & the "old white lady on oxygen" was. The man had to be close to 6 ft tall & was complaining that they needed help & they brought in the stretcher to get the old lady.
While I wasn't there to witness it I can only surmise that if she was placed onto a stretcher that the water was not very high & if she had oxygen it was a "medical" evacuation.
