Thinking Someone Is Someone You Know Situations

A friend (obviously made up friend since I don't have friends to my obviously made up story) of mine text me today and told me how he got in line at the gas station and he thought the dude in front of him was this dude we know who we call Rot Knot.. And he said to him "where the frick you been rot knot?" and he said the dude turned around and looked pissed. He said he apologized while laughing and once the dude finished checking out, he grabbed his stuff and sort of sprinted out like he was startled.
Anyway, I had that happen to me one or twice, where I thought someone was someone I knew and either realized just in time or a second too late it wasn't them. Anyone got any good stories in which they mistakenly thought someone was someone they knew?

I once made a bet with this guy who I thought was a stand up dude but after he lost the bet and he couldn’t stand up to the repercussions, I realized he was only half the man I thought he was.
Does that count?

I paid a friend $100 yesterday for a side bet we made. And I had another side bet with someone for a bottle of tito's and they recently brought it to me. I always pay my bets in real life, but you are a shite bag who had to run your mouth while I was honoring my bet so I thought to myself "I don't even really know this dude, he is a frick up on a message board. Am I really going to honor a bet I made with him?".
So yeah, I didn't honor our bet. Evidently it really bothers you but get the frick over it. Do you want me to put in my sig quote "I didn't honor my bet with 08 and it really bothers him. And he uses it to make the same lame as stand up jokes because he wants people to think he is cool and funny so hate me because I suck and please give him attention and laugh at things he post"?

Hey guys, OweO has a friend that had some really mundane shite happen to him. It's the type of shite that everyone has had happen probably more than a few times. He wants to know if it has ever happened to any of us. Also, it happened to him a few times before.
