That was going to be my question

Probably took a safe horse out trail riding on vacation once. You know, the kind who know the trail and won’t go faster than a walk?

Let him try out some of your bucking stock to get a feel for landing on your face from 6 feet high

Absolutely go for it you dumbass. Rodeo is not something you just jump into mid life to achieve a goal. People spend thousands of dollars going down the road trying to achieve a dream. I truly believe this is something you don’t just pick up. This is a sport that’s bred into you or not. You either have it or don’t. I’m telling you there’s 100% chance you don’t if you’re waiting this long to try. Sorry to break it to you buddy but put the 8 seconds dvd down and realize your not half the man Lane was.

The horse I had in high school could buck. He had a true talent. It was not fun. People would ask my trainer if he brought “that bucking horse” to the show.

Might start OP out throwing a rubber snake in front of one that's a little jumpy

Good plan. Or maybe a plastic bag will float by. Apparently Satan lives in plastic bags.

If you’re older than 18 you’re too old to just try and start riding bulls. And that’s giving you a lot of years. Like I said before it’s not something you just pick up

You need to be young to try and get into that without getting busted up. Kids bounce and 30 year olds break.

Ain't nothing wrong with trying it, but getting on a bull is different than getting into rodeo. Rodeo is life on the road chasing a paycheck. Getting on a bull when you get an opportunity is just painful fun.

You’ve missed out on little britches and high school rodeo. Try it just to say you’ve done it not something you do riding bulls. Try a different event if you gotta do rodeo. You’ve passed the curve on bull riding and if you didn’t know that you wouldn’t be asking a message board

Blake, I’d start with horses. And lessons.
