My 33 year old Navy nephew spent some of his bonus money on an Indian Chief the last time he re-upped.
He already had this Harley.

I'll sell mine. I night one last year. Already tired of it. No wrecks, yet.

This is why I sold mine. Too many near miss collisions with people on their phones.
Yep
Some of the scariest times of my life are when I drove a motorbike. I had 2 wrecks. One was my own fault but the other was because a driver didn’t see me in their blind spot and cut me off and sent me into a tree. Actually there was a 3rd which was dirt biking but that is another thing entirely.
Bottom line- riding a motor cycle is very dangerous. People just don’t see you and things can be very dicey. There’s defensive driving in cars and there’s defensive driving on a bike. Awareness is critical

I’ve had a vrod for 10 years. I get scared with how people drive lately. Just my two cents.

Will be interesting to see how much safer riding a motorcycle will be when 95+% of cars on road are on autopilot.
I'll probably be too old then to really enjoy a bike then though.

Yes, I might get a bike then as well.

Rule #1: Avoid people’s blind spots.
