Great notes. F was 96 really that far away? Getting older is so bizarre to me. I’d imagine the pager industry attitude at that point in time was nearly untouchable, but then just a few years later...
I worked for one of the big 3 wireless carriers and still had a work pager, (the cutting edge kind you could play games on.
).
From my historical perspective it’s still bizarre that texting is so huge - it was basically written off by telecoms as a bottom feeder tech.
