My mom used to drive one of those massive vans in the 90s. They would take all the seats out and we’d have the entire floor. I think we even put a bed mattress down there.

My MIL was telling me they did the same thing. They put a mattress and all the kids had cubbies for there stuff.

Sleeping in, lazy Saturdays/Sundays, being able to go out to dinner without arranging sitter, adult vacations, etc
