I don't understand birthday cards. Why should I spend $3 to $5 on a card to tell you happy birthday. Isn't saying it better than getting something on paper.

I just spent a legitimate 2.5 hours at the Texas DPS getting my license renewed. I had to wait in line outside of the building for 30 minutes before getting in the door and then was literally forced to sit in a cramped seat for 2 hours (they wouldn't let anyone stand alongside the wall while waiting).
My renewal couldn't be done online and they had no provision for making an appointment in order to lessen my wait time.
The last time I had to go there it was the same story.
This is 2017, America!
The kicker is that they had asked me to bring up to 7 documents for them to look at.....they only ended up even looking at my old DL and DD-214.
