Benjy Davis lyrics. I confused : "We'd be sitting at a bar drinking Coor's light sucking on a fat blunt packed thick rolled tight "

with

"We'd be sitting at a bar drinking Coor's light sucking on a fat blunt packed thick. Roll Tide."

I was like, frick Benjy Davis!

There are some words that people don't use often that I only knew because I had read them....when I was younger, I exclaimed that it was "STIFF-LING in here!" And my sister laughed at me and told me that it was "STIFE-ling" and I felt ashamed.

I used to always wonder why towns would have a sign saying "no jake brakes allowed". I didn't think it was anything else but didn't have a clue what it meant.

Finally my curiosity got me and I looked it up and found out it is the loud braking system on an eighteen wheeler.

I thought Baptist Pumpkin Center was a place that sold pumpkins owned and operated by the Baptist church.

Turns out its just a sign for two separate cities on I-10 en route to New Orleans.

When I was a kid, I used to think that Wind Chill Factor was Wind Shield Factor.

I thought it had to do with how much ice you could expect on your wind shield after a cold night.

True story:
One time when I was in like 8th grade, we had a doctor speak at church about "Euthanasia" in 3rd world countries and the whole time I was sitting there going "wtf does this have to do with kids in China?"

Also, when I was a kid I thought it was "War War 1 & War War 2"

When I was in the Army my first duty station was in Germany. On my orders it said I would need to present a valid military ID or visa in order to board the plane to go to Germany. My first thought was that I was glad I had a military ID cause I didn't want to have to apply for a credit card.
