The ocassional explosions from the Esso plant. Barges on the river carrying dangerous chemicals running into bridges and shite. Traffic on Highland Road going into campus every bloody morning.

Catfish Town, that place was such a hell hole before the Atrium.

The daycare my parents sent me to off Gardere. I think it was called Small World.

Been living the country life since '96...certainly do not miss all the Red Lights. No red lights here and just a handful of stop signs.

Skate City in the late 70's was very legit.

That stretch of Florida to Denham was the big growth area back then, believe it or not. But it's a bunch of empty shells and broken dreams since the early 80's.

As Freshmen (circa early '90s) we would go to Mr Gatty's in the early evening/late afternoon on Fridays with an empty backpack and leave with a full belly and food for the weekend. After that year I ate there about once a semester to remind myself why I only ate there once a semester.
