I didn't see an "only" or an "until" in the rules.

Tell racist jokes or any jokes and not offend people.
Go into a bar at any age.
Drive drunk.
Treat your women like a woman.
Day time work cocktails.
I wasn’t even alive in the 60’s but could do this in the eighties. Had to be accepted in the 60’s.

Get a good whipping by any of the neighborhood parents when you got in trouble doing something bad like putting frogs in someone's mailbox, and any other stupid stuff. I think my best friends's mom whipped me, her sons and any other kids in the neighborhood more than my own parents. The neighborhood parents had an agreement to discipline any of the kids just like they were their own.

Park your truck in town with the windows open and your loaded shotgun or rifle in the back windshield gun rack.

Drive to high school with a gun rack in your truck with a rifle or shotgun in it. Imagine that today

Ah, the good old days. I wish I had lived back then to see them.

The good old days??? I lived through the 60's being born in the early 50's and there was a lot of unrest back then.

Nam was going on, more and more protests as the war wore on and more U.S. GI's were being killed and maimed.

The KKK was still pretty active in the south and were up in arms over the whole "Civil Rights" thing. Protest marches were happening all over the country, but mainly in the south with riots often breaking out.

Jim Crow laws were still in effect that severely limited what people of color could do, where they could go, where they could live, etc.

JFK, MLK, RFK were all assassinated in the 60's.

If you live long enough you will witness a lot of different things over the years that cause your country a lot of distress, upheaval and eventually some form or social reform to try to alleviate it. Every generation has its pitfalls, just some worse than others.

Did it most every day for years. Most of the hunting guys did. We used to hunt snakes at night in the ponds during Summer when the Seasons were closed. I think the record was somewhere around 400. That was a late night. I'm still apologizing to snakes today.

Makes on wonder what it looks like 40 years from now.

There’s far more racism now.
How old are you boy?

There's always been, and will always be racism in some form or another. It just seems to be human nature.

Ask any black person who lived through the 60's about how racism affected their lives, especially those living down south.

With Jim Crow Laws in effect that severely limited what black folks could do. I remember bars and restaurants with take out windows for blacks to walk up to and order sandwiches or plate lunches because they were not allowed inside.

Audubon Park had a few large wading pools that were designated "White Only". Pontchartrain Beach was the white theme park and Lincoln Beach on Hayne Blvd. was the one blacks went to.

If a black got on a bus, they were expected to sit behind the area of the side exit door and I often heard the drivers yelling "****s to the rear" as the bus got crowded.

Movie theaters had white sections and black sections for seating. Water fountains were labeled "White Only" or "Colored".

I was a young white kid in the early 60's and grew into a late teen by the end of that decade and being white I know I had a much easier life than black kids the same age.

Oh, and I'm no bleeding heart liberal, just telling like it was as I recall it.

Playing high school and junior high school football, eating salt tablets from a big jar of salt tablets and then anyone who got knocked out during the game sitting out usually a play or two and then being sent back in. Coaches would just say you got your "bell rung" and get you back in the game as soon as possible.

Put gas in the lawn mower without having to hold the can with both hands and press a release button. As 4-6 year olds we could play tackle football dressed in helmets and pads.
