I am going to San Diego for vacation in about a month. I've never been there before and wanted to know what's some cool things to do there. I definitely wanted to do some hiking, maybe a brewery tour. I will be there for about a week.

Thanks.

And no trips to Mexico.

I enjoyed the USS Midway Museum.

For the price I thought the Zoo is overrated.

Hiking is great. Go check out some of the tide pools. Can come across some pretty cool stuff. I also thought the zoo was overrated. The USS Midway was pretty cool. Some pretty cool places in La Jolla.

SanDiego to me is quite boring. I would love to live there because of the weather and the geography. But for a short trip it's very limited in WoW Factor. Enjoy your trip.

Don't go southbound on 5 past the bridge after 1400. Instant road rage.

Coronado is a great little walk, lots of small shops.

Make sure and get some Arrogant Bastard.

Go to Point Loma, breathtaking views.
If the whale migration has started, take a whale boat ride.
If you have a rental car, take a day trip north- Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Oceanside.
Torrey Pines for a hike.

I went this spring with 4 buddies. We went to this hotel, I think the coronado hotel, that I think is on coronado beach. It's got sort of a pier/deck area right there on the beach with a stand that sells food and alcohol that was pretty awesome.

Eat fish tacos and drink amazing beer.

We did a 4 brewery tour in one day. Ballast Point, Green Flash, Alesmith, and Stone are all north of the city and fairly close together. Stone is beautiful. Go there for dinner.
