I can't stand when people say, "Does that make sense?" after an explanation.
Very demeaning.

I'm literally on page one and have a smile on my face. Good fricking thread.

'ax' instead of 'ask'
"America is the greatest country in the world"

When people refer to SUVs as trucks.

the way people of a certain descent say baton rouge....
or how they pronounce "R"
or how they give their date of birth as, for example "5th Munt, twelt day, 1944"...

Another post just reminded me of this, but "Nawlins" for New Orleans.
I have NEVER heard New Orleans called this until recently, now it's commonplace.

"I mean.." at the beginning of a sentence.
"Sleep" used in place of "asleep". Example: "I'll see if I can get him up to come to work but right now he sleep."

The new trends of "Really?" and starting a story or every sentence with "So".

"Get your hands off me you creepy a-hole."
I am also annoyed that flammable and inflammable mean the same thing.
people not knowing what penultimate means - they think it means "really ultimate" when all it means is "second to last"
"length" for "tall" when talking about basketball players
NFL draft catchphrase of the year - for example a couple of years back they way overused "hand in the dirt" for "three point stance", which guys have been doing since the 19 aughts
