When my son was 2 when we would drive at night he would sit in his car seat and stare at the side window. He would make ghost noises and faces at the window and say don't be scared mama it's not a ghost it's just my refraction.
There was also a pilot flare on a natural gas well or some shite about 5 Miles from our house. Every time we passed it he would say Hey that's where they cremate people. He watched a lot of Scooby Doo.

My son sang "itsy bitsy spider" on repeat by himself in the car seat on our drive from TX to LA this weekend. When he gets to "the rain came down and washed the spider out", he goes into some demonic growling voice like he's singing death metal. Wife and I both turn to each other with concerned laughter. He's 2.

Some friends of mine were trying to get their 4 year old daughter to eat healthier food, but she wanted chicken nuggets.
Trying to dissuade her, her dad responded that nuggets were made out of mushed up chicken beaks and eyeballs.
Then she hit him with some stone cold logic, "sometimes beaks and eyeballs taste good, dad."
What do you say to that?

Stopped reading here.
well it was the last line of the post so I'd say that was an appropriate stopping point.

Write down all the funny things your kids do. Give it to them as a graduation gift when they finish HS.

When my youngest was 4 , he said " Dad when I grow up....you are going to be dead."

"front butt".
This is what my wife (no pics) has our 3 year old daughter (yes I assign gender) calling it. First time I heard that it took me a minute to figure out what she was talking about

When my daughter was 4 or 5 she told us at dinner one night that in school they were taught to never use the "F word". AS my wife and I inquired about this she explained "you should always say passing gas, instead."
