They literally reported this 24/7 for the last month and a half.
It created pressure to do something. Now you have people afraid to go out and toss a football around. Hospitals empty, and fake virus numbers being reported to get more assistance.
The governors are literally holding citizens hostage at this point. It was clearly over blown to a massive extent

While the plan needs to be firmed up, there isn't a lot of "back and forth" like people are implying
This is what happens when people think through the lens of politics. It does seem like the actual leaders are intent on finding a way to open up intelligently and with balance for both medical and economic needs.
It's become clear that there is a small group on here that just wants to create conflict and disruption. Whether they are just dyed in the wool ideologues or are getting marching orders from somewhere that benefits from such disruption is an open question. But its pretty clear that they are not interested in a logical thought out course of action.
