I wouldn’t call it jealousy. Rather I’d say it’s due to misconceptions. Most people get their views on MCs from what they see on TV, shows like “Sons of Anarchy”, “Mayans”, and crime documentaries. But that’s not reality. Sure, as is the case with just about any group, there are criminals and degenerates. And you’ll see some who watch the romanticized version of the MC life on TV and want to be part of it. Those tend to be the young hard-asses who give the whole MC world a bad name. Those guys usually flame out quickly because no one wants to deal with their drama and they’re in it for all the wrong reasons.
The vast majority of guys in MCs are regular hard-working baws who love to ride motorcycles and hang out with like-minded baws. They don’t go looking for trouble and don’t want to get caught up in trouble. They’ll never portray the real MC “lifestyle” on TV though because such a show would be quite boring.
