The point is it shouldnt be socially acceptable.
Youre directly harming other people and animals when you shoot off fireworks.
Thankfully they will be banned in a decade or so. Most people understand how worthless they are. It's the same as banning smoking indoors. Eventually people will come around. We just, unfortunately, arent there yet.
