As the fervor rises on both sides of the NFL’s national anthem controversy, players are seeing that there could be a financial cost to protesting.
Many Dolphins have varying degrees of endorsement deals, ranging from Ndamukong Suh being one of Nike’s most prominent athletes to players with minor shoe and apparel agreements, and those could be in danger if they draw backlash for a demonstration during the anthem in Sunday’s game at Seattle.
That’s already happened to another player. Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall knelt during the anthem before the NFL’s season-opening game between Carolina and Denver on Thursday and lost an endorsement deal within 24 hours. The Air Academy Federal Credit Union dropped him as a spokesman Friday.
“Although we have enjoyed Brandon Marshall as our spokesperson over the past five months, AAFCU has ended our partnership,” president Glenn Strebe wrote in a statement. “AAFCU is a membership-based organization who has proudly served the military community for over 60 years. While we respect Brandon’s right of expression, his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership. We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors.”
The protests have yet to cause problems with team and stadium sponsors, but that could come next after what figures to be a tense Sunday for the NFL.

And what good has their little act done for the good of this country?

There is a general assumption SJWs get easily offended over the actions of others. #millinials #trophygeneration

Nope. Only pussy SJW liberal cucks get triggered. At least that's what the Poliboard tells me.

Nothing... except that I learned that Kaepernick is a dirty fricking Muslim now.

SJWs cross the line by thinking being offended now means they are owed something and or the offensive person is deserving of punishment
One day you will notice the difference between that, and simply being angered by someone's actions and stating such anger
"frick that guy, I can't believe he called me fat"
"frick that guy, he called me fat. He deserves to be fired and owes me for hurting my feelings"
Got it?

Uhhh might want to check the countless threads and posts about the NFL should suspend/fine players who do this. Some have even said he should be cut for this.
This board nearly blasts a business for changing a policy or firing someone simply as a result of SJW bitching.
Now a significant amount of people on this board want their bitching to result in a change of policy or a firing/fining of certain players.
It's really not different. Even if you want it to be.

"I could care less" what athletes say and do.

Well in that case this board is full of SJWs.

Really don't know what the big deal is. Even the media is sucking their dick. Last night they filmed those guys kneeling during the entire national anthem. Barely showed the service men and didn't bother to show the fighter jets flying over. Simply kept the camera on these goons for nothing. Not sure why everyone just doesn't ignore them.

Good for them. There's many people thinking he and the rest that are doing this deserve to lose their jobs, their sponsorships, etc. They are taking a page right out of the SJW playbook and they are too blind to see it.

I didn't watch the NFL before all of this started....nothing has changed.

Yup. Bunch of hypocrites who complain about people getting offended who themselves get easily offended. It's beautiful.
Soooo, disagreeing with a political demonstration during a sporting event equals being triggered and offended?
To say this is a stretch is putting it nicely.

This is why i'm annoyed. Those fricking soldiers are making less than 50k a year and getting blown the frick up. Holding the flag during the national anthem is the highlight of their lives.
But no, lets show a prima donna knealing.

They haven't triggered me. I don't like the current version of the USA. It's totally corrupt and has many characteristics that one would find in an authoritarian state.
I don't blame anybody who won't sing the praises of this version of the USA. I don't blame anybody who won't pretend to be in love with this version of the USA.

To say this is a stretch is putting it nicely.
To represent things the way you are is a stretch itself. People are pissed and passionate about this.
And to further point out your disengenuous nature and lack of self awareness, that isn't "putting it nicely." It is being condescending. The least you can do is be honest with yourself even if you are unwilling to be honest with others.

It's extremely hilarious. I just like observing the fake people it has brought out.
