There’s an “art museum” on the moon, and the idea behind it was a little cocky.

Did you know there’s an “art museum” on the moon?
Well…sort of.
A wafer the size of a postage stamp was secretly placed on one of the arms of the lunar module of Intrepid of the Apollo 12 mission.
Artist Forrest Meyers was the brainchild behind the forbidden art. See, he asked NASA several time to bring various works of art to the moon during the Apollo missions but was always denied. However, through various sources he was able to get the wafer to an engineer with Grumman who was working on the lunar module at the time. The rest is (somewhat secretive) history.
7 artists were “commissioned” to inscribe their own version of art to become a lunar staple. These artists include John Chamberlain, Forrest Myers, David Novros, Claes Oldenburg, Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol.
So what does this tiny “art museum” look like?
For obvious reasons, the artwork had to be minimalistic. Novros created the black square that is meant to resemble a circuit board. Oldenburg simply left his signature (which at the time resembled Mickey Mouse). And good ole Andy Warhol also left his signature, which features an upside-down W, with the A cross beam in the middle chevron. An added touch makes it, well, let’s just say slightly phallic.
Ok, it’s a dick. Warhol drew a MF dick and it’s on the moon, virtually forever. Unless some other dick in the coming moon missions decides to remove it.
Time will tell.

Does this count as him being a part of the 238,855 miles high club?

An uncircumcised one, at that. That's how we know there's no cheese on the moon.
