Sure it does. It encourages more to come. They send word back that America has work and money. Don’t be naive to cover your guilt. It’s the reason people won’t vote with Republicans - you aren’t about principles, only money and yourself.

I think you’re the one being naive if you think refusing to hire someone you think is here illegally changes anything. Even if everyone who voted republican did this, those guys are still finding work. If you’re motivated enough to walk across a damned desert, you think a couple of “no thanks” are going to stop you from getting paid?
And even if it did, how do you even do this practically? Do you ask your lawn guy or the home cleaning ladies for proof of residency?
Just fix the border. It’s not up to citizens to solve this problem.

Sure. Again, you are the problem with this country. No principles. Just keep on keeping on.

The federal government is the problem for not stopping it. What do you think these guys are going to do if they get no work….think they are going to go back to their home country or you think they are going to start stealing and robbing people?
Again, it’s not the right solution, but it’s where we are at. The right solution is to lockdown our border and ship these people back and make them come in the right way.

I think people who can’t think rationally are the problem with this country, but you’re still entitled to your opinion I suppose.

It’s like being against abortion, but your daughter needed one and since it’s legal, you took her to get one. Plenty of good ole patriot Republicans want do as I say, but not as I do. It’s the reason they will lose.

Yes I do. You just keep hiring them. More will come and you will complain. Hopefully none of them rape your wife or daughter. Glad you saved a few bucks or calories though.

So you really look at this and it bothers you?

Oh frick off. Go bang your wife or something

I think you’re right. You’ve convinced me to see the light. I definitely don’t want anyone on Jose’s lawn crew to rape my wife and daughter.
Can you explain to me how to vet him and his crew so I can avoid this unfortunate outcome?

You aren’t worried about vetting anyone - you are worried about your pocket book. A leopard doesn’t change its spots.

I mean it, just tell me how to do it and I will. I am now very concerned about the residency status of these guys and how that pertains to the safety of my wife and daughter.
You said I’m part of the problem. I want to be part of the solution but I need to know what that is exactly.

It would literally take me less time to edge it for them vs taking a pic and posting online

Simple - don’t hire them. You know when you hire them they probably are illegal. Doesn’t bother you though. You saved $25 or 500 calories - all worth in the end. I’ve seen my family use them in all their businesses in Texas. Staunch republicans but will do anything to make money. Now they complain they are over running Texas. Tough shite. You caused the problem, now deal with it. You made a choice. Now it backfired. Enjoy.

Looks like about 5 minutes of work if you have a solid edger. Go ask them if they need help. Maybe it's just a young kid that can do the lawn or an older person or a poor person that doesn't have the tool.

OK. So you don’t have a solution.

Might that be because refusing to hire someone because they “look illegal” isn’t exactly a solution and potentially problematic?

I see all the DV's but you are absolutely correct.
My subdvision has curb and gutter and 4-5 individuals down the street blow all the clipping debris into the street and leave it. Trashiest motherfrickers I have in the neighborhood. What is also funny is that one of the guys who does this trims his lawn immaculately then proceeds to turn the street in front of his house into a landfill.

Enjoy. Coming to town near you. MS 13. The chicken plant also was busing in 100’s of Haitians to work. Of course they thought about the safety of the town and all and vetted all of them. Some fat cat in NY rolling in the cash. The love of money is the root of all evil. Quiet, little safe town now over run. Nice. Don’t even watch the video of girl from Denver and Venezuela gangs from prison over running areas of town. Not to mention one the largest boost to Mexican economy is money leaving USA for Mexico. It’s not staying in our economy. Glad you can save a few bucks or calories. You’re beating the system.

What is the purpose of this? Isn't it better to leave it in the lawn? And if you hate it that much for whatever reason, use a bagging lawnmower. I've never understood it.
