a hurricane has the potential energy of hundreds if not thousands of nuclear weapons... anyone that believes human technology can focus and manipulate that kind of start up energy necessary to birth a cat 5 hurricane

It has been proven it can be done. We can debate whether it happened (it did), but to say it can't be done is insanity.
AND, I didn't say HAARP started the hurricane, so there's no issue of "start up energy." Its path and strengthanization were controlled.
