Cancelled 9 years ago, Apu has returned and has an Indian American as his voice actor.

So are you suggesting that if an Indian actor had played Apu for most/all of the shows history that people would call it woke BS?

For some context, here are all the characters Hank Azaria voiced/voices
Major and Recurring Characters
• Moe Szyslak (the tavern owner)
• Chief Wiggum (Springfield's police chief)
• Comic Book Guy (Jeff Albertson)
• Superintendent Gary Chalmers
• Professor John Frink
• Cletus Spuckler
• Dr. Nick Riviera
• Snake Jailbird
• Kirk Van Houten
• Duffman
• Disco Stu
• Frank Grimes
• Fat Tony
• Sea Captain
I would be curious to know if he still voices characters such as Fat Tony, Dr. Nick, and the Sea Captain, because he is neither fat, old (at least he wasn't old) nor Middle Eastern, or whatever ethnicity Dr. Nick is. In the woke TV industry voice actors who exactly match each of those characters should be playing them, no? shite, Hank probably doesn't even listen to disco music

So they hired an Indian dude to do the voice and its as terrible and cringe as ever. The Simpsons have been prog coded for awhile now. Absolutely terrible show.
