Seeing as you don't know me I'll let that slide, because if you knew me you'd know what I've been through in my life, and while the vast majority of it was deserved and done properly there were more than a few times I was railroaded by the system. It just takes once to make you speak out against the trampling of rights no matter whos rights are being trampled. So just go on and keep believing that this is fair and unbiased or better yet go have a party because someone you consider is beneath you is being screwed.

Im my opion the truth is in the middle. The police knew about possible violence and set up shop. If a fight broke out and a gun was pulled, the police didnt try to stop the particular threat, they opened fire on a whole bunch people that werent involved at all. It will be interesting if and how many bikers were discharging weapons before the cops opened up on the crowd.

If I had to guess, you're right about how it went down. A fight broke out and the Waco PD overreacted killing & wounding a bunch of innocent people. And now to add insult to injury, they're trying to pin the guilt via murder charges of what happened that day on 170 people who had nothing to do with whatever went down.

What I've heard (second & third hand of course so take it FWIW) is that a fist fight broke out in he parking lot between a group of Scimitars & Bandidos. One of the Scimitars pulled a gun and shot one of the Bandidos in the shoulder at point blank range. When this happened some other guys then pulled their pistols and that's when the cops who were already in position, locked and loaded, opened fire on the crowd gunning down anyone they saw in the parking lot that looked like a biker. One witnessed said they heard the cops moving through the parking lot firing while on the move say "one down! two down!" etc.

And just to add another layer of WTF to this whole story, I've read that the entire reason the Scimitars were there is because a Waco PD "CI" who had infiltrated the club suggested they do there to confront the Bandidos over the "Texas" bottom rocker and he was the one who started the whole shooting. Supposedly as soon as the firing died down, this "CI" removed his biker vest and put on a Waco PD jacket and started processing the scene and those being detained.

Now is any of that true? I have no idea. I'm like you, I think the truth is somewhere between the biker's story and the cops story. The problem though is the Waco PD has put such a complete and total information blackout on this whole thing that it's leading to all sorts of wild stories popping up. All I can say for sure is with every passing day the whole Waco PD and the local judicial system look to be taking great pains to cover up whatever happened at Twin Peaks.

I ran into a former chapter president of one of the clubs involved not long ago and all he would tell me was that "someone set this shite up and I ain't sure who it was but they got what they wanted" what that means I don't know.

I wasn't there so I can't say for sure either way what went down. All I do know from my years in the MC world is fights like this in a public place are almost unheard of anymore and have been since that big fight between the HA's and Mongols happened in Reno over a decade ago.
