The US had months to develop a quick method to vaccinate

It’s almost like they waited until the vaccine was approved before they even thought how to quickly administer the vaccine.

State governments were supposed to organize this.
My state is failing at it despite having supply pushed into local hospitals and pharmacies for weeks now.

I recall a lot of promise that the military would be involved in getting the vaccines distributed very quickly to everyone.
That was obviously not a promise that the current leadership intended to keep. It's a shame, really it is..

You can't honestly expect us to be as good at this as *checks notes* Bahrain, now can you?

I am not so sure everyone is ready nor willing to quickly receive it.

Should be better with Moderna out there now.
Thawing the Pfizer one is an issue, dont want to thaw and waste

The development was a function of federal government. Administration is a function of state/local government. It’s amazing that the federal government program was able to develop one as quickly as it did. Perfect example of public/private partnership. But of course Trump will not get any credit for doing so.

Nobody wants it. That's the problem. The reality is that people do not trust any of the *experts* anymore.

Vaccines are being delivered. When are you allowed to get it?
You probably don't know because your state hasn't outlined that yet.

I just saw on the news that a freezer with the Pfizer vaccine failed and started to thaw. They had to quickly find people to vaccinate so as not to waste the vaccine. I would be very skeptical of the effectiveness of that vaccine.

It was up to the states essentially. Most states are not ready.
Oddly enough, Louisiana is.

Really? I don't know a single person that has said they want to be a lab rat for an potentially life altering RNA vaccine to fight the lame-arse china cold.

Yeah, we should have had instant access and planning for 360 million people regarding a vaccine (never mind two of them) that people said wouldn't be ready until next summer.
I'm amazed at how many people in this world can't fend for themselves and spend their whole lives blaming others.

The states knew it was their responsibility and had months to get ready. And got a lot of federal aid to help make it happen. Really, how complicated a task is this?
WV offered it to all LTC residents in the state right out of the box. Why isn't Louisiana doing that? Ask JBE. Why has NY used only a small fraction of the doses they got? Ask Cuomo.

Weird. I guess we run in different circles.

Keep telling yourself that. All of the doses delivered to local phamacies in my area were spoken for the morning that they became available. I couldn't even get one pharmacy to answer the phone while trying to set up an appoint for my mother to get one. And many eligible people don't even know of the limited availability.
