I used the service 3 times yesterday. Will continue to use service even after $5 rate ends because I don't drink/ drive.
2 of the cars were not in the best condition. It was both of the drivers first or second day and the were both nice so I gave them 5 stars anyway. 1 guy said his AC had gone out yesterday morning. He needs to get that fixed quick!
I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride.

You gave the guy with no AC 5 stars? That's bullshite. It's summer in LA, if you want to make some side dough, fix your damn car.
I don't foresee him working very long without AC. No way he can keep a rating above 4.5.

After following this thread for days, I'm convinced it was started by an Uber employee. See, the tactic used brought up every argument Yellow Cab makes and allowed the public to rip it shreds on a popular message board. Yellow Cab gets trashed and Uber gets a lot of run in the process.

Many times when people protest things too much they actually bring all of the attention to it. When Fox first launched as a network no one knew what it was. One woman started a huge campaign against Fox because of "Married with Children". She drew tons and tons media attention towards Fox and made a show that quite possibly would have been cancelled in to a huge thing.

They had a promo last night. Drivers logged in from 9 PM - 2 AM received an extra $50. Plus they also are giving an extra $5 for every pickup this weekend (between 6PM tonight and some time Sunday night).
