but if he says it will take an hour its ok according to your previous post...you just don't like being lied to

If in the extremely unlikely scenario that it would be an hour long wait for uber, I can still chose whether or not I want the car to come based on if I want to wait or not, and I know how much the fare will be. I'm not saying I would always chose to wait the 1 hour(I probably wouldn't), but i have that choice and could make that decision with the correct knowledge of how long it'll take

So yes I would always like an honest answer, who wouldn't?

You have a grace period to cancel without a charge.

Well you can, as in you get the driver see his rating and can cancel if you don't like his rating/car. You can't just scroll through the drivers and pick one though.

fricking wrong.

Stop spreading lies. My fiance has cancelled a few times until she gets a female driver when she's by herself.

I don't think there will be any demand in BR with the exception of Saturday night. Our shitty airport won't help things and probably a lack of drivers willing to go all the way out to Baker to pick people up.

I think there reason Yellow Cab has sucked for so long is there isn't any competition. Because there's no money to be made in BR.

The longest I have had to wait for an uber vehicle in Atlanta was 15 minutes. Generally the wait is around 7-9 minutes.

Perfect for Uber.

Drivers will just turn it on nights and weekends if people aren't requesting rides at other times.

It's basic supply/demand model and allowing drivers to make their own schedules makes this system fool proof.

so if the YC driver said it would be an hour and it was an hour you would be cool with that?

Yes, most of the drivers I had the # for when I lived in BR would do that and I would walk back in the bar for an hour. They were usually there around an hour.

Then why are you so worried about uber?

If it has no shot in making it on this city, then why do you care?

Uber won't be full time drivers. Just people making a few extra bucks on the sides on nights and weekends.

Aren't a lot of cab drivers because they don't make enough for a full time gig.

They must have changed the policy from the last time I read it then. It used to be you had a certain time period to cancel it.

I bought a car this week so I've had a refresher on circular logic, but this guy takes the cake.
