BEST

1. 2006 - Graduated from high school, freshman year of college, just an incredible time to be alive.
2. 2010 - Just a year filled with friends and memories.
3. 2004 - Went to Europe and to New York City for the first time, my grades were good for a change.
4. 2016 - My first full year stationed in Hawaii. Lots of good memories before shite went down hill.
5. 1995 - Best year I ever had in grade school, also my sister was born the day after Christmas so that's a plus.

WORST

1. 2017 - My second full year in Hawaii was the worst. Generalized Anxiety Disorder, my dad getting diagnosed with AML, and a shitty job on top of everything.
2. 2005 - My grandfather started to get sick, my dad lost his job, and the medication I was on (accutane) was making me hella depressed.
3. 2001 - I was going through a lot of personal crap due to the onset of puberty. Poor grades, rocky relationships with friends and family, and a very bad habit of lashing out at anyone who tried to help me.
4. 2020 - The Year of the Pandemic has been shitty but I have had worse years. I think the overall worst thing about all of this is the fact that I haven't been able to travel or see anything. I've been stuck in one place since March.
5. 1998 - My first year in public school. No friends, new surroundings, and teachers who didn't make the transition easy at all.

You had no problems with the Trump tax cuts we all received and less than $2 a gallon gas did you?

It was easy when Obama left him the best economy ever. And now Trump wrecked it because of “Covid”

The last 5 years have been the worst of your life? You probably should work on yourself. 5 years is a long time to not have the ability to change your life.

Ill do 3

BEST:

1) End 2015-Beginning 2016: Best year of college by far. Good group of friends and a lot of good times.

2) 2020: challenges for sure but I feel like I'm learning a lot and becoming a better person from it.

3) End 2012- Beginning 2013: Had a really good senior year of HS. All state track and xc and finally started coming out of my shell.

WORST:

1) 2019: Complete crap show of a year. Had a relationship end a few days before getting married, totaled a car, made many other dumb decisions. Not a fun time.

2) 2017: Senior year of college was rough. Lot of hard decisions and such made harder by being with the chick that ended things with me in 2019. Also aided by dumb decisions on my end

3) IDK honestly: Every other year is just kind of the same. Nothing that sticks out in particular.

Last 3 have been absolutely brutal for me. For ever possibility of it going positive I get kicked square in the nuts 5 times it seems. I don't even say 'it can't get worse' because the first few times I said it shite got way worse.

We have a president who thinks small 4 legged animals carry Mexican children across the border? What do they put them in a backpack or something? Come on man.

Each year keeps getting better and better because I'm just happy to be alive.

August 2016 to now has by far been some of the worst years of my life. Like there were times I seriously considered suicide for the briefest of moments before realizing that’s not even an option cause then who would take care of my family.

Just when I think “surely it can’t get worse than this” it does.

Still hopeful one day it will get better. All one can do at this point.

Well, if what Biden said last night is true, I strongly suggest moving out of LA unless you don't need to work for money.

I'm very sorry you felt that way. I'm always here if you need me to vent to.

Thanks. It was just fleeting thoughts when things were really, really bad. Nothing I would have ever actually acted on. When things are really bad, sometimes you let your mind go there briefly as a weird source of comfort.

I was there and even hospitalized for it, so I get it. Nothing I ever wanted to do, but when I quit my Zoloft cold turkey I went to that spot and it literally terrified me because that was NOT what I wanted.
