You think Afghan civilians and American collaborators deserve the Taliban?

If they want to go back to women not having rights and fricking goats then let them. Shouldn't have ever tried to nation build a country that has been stuck in the 10th century and doesn't want to change.

Bomb them if terrorists start training there, otherwise, let them kill each other

You can not bring freedom to a nation. The nation has to be willing to fight for it.

Maybe one of these days we'll figure that out.

Eh. The ones we left in charge arent innocent either

Honestly brutal Islamist regimes might be best for order in that part of the world as they are not capable of democracy

We should have never been there in the first place.

Bush should have bombed the crap out of Al Queda posts and called it a day.

It was the biggest military and political mistake of the last 100 years.

Whats the racial breakdown of the taliban forces? Are they a racist organization or do they support BLM?

I think before we continue fighting them we've got to know their stance on gender fluidity and what pronouns they prefer as well.

Hate to say it, but the US gave the Afghan people ample time to get their shite in order. If your government fails you, it's up to you now.

i don't understand why people say we failed in Afghanistan.... it was absolutely Mission Accomplished... military contractors, investors, and shareholders made huge profits. Don't think there was any other objective.

In the 80s, we called the western oriented rebels, the Gucci muj.

The Gucci muj that work for us in Kabul, are going to flee the country. They’ll move back to DC and Bethesda.

Get our people out.

This place is not worth the blood that's been shed for it.

The Pashtuns will all join the Taliban.

By December, the map of Afghanistan will be identical to the one that existed on September 10th, 2001.

We should have never gone into that country to begin with. How many American lives were lost/injured and trillions of dollars spent? All for what outcome? This was the inevitable ending and things will return to how they were before we started this endeavor.
