Maybe it’s not about the money for Elon.
Evidently. He way overpaid for the lulz of bidding based on a weed meme, then tried to claim he'd been been ripped off, then gave up and paid the "weed price" when he couldn't prove that, putting the company on the hook for an extra $1B in debt servicing annually and is now driving off advertisers and blaming it on the libs.

What are his revenue plans?
Since you know so much.

There's my 2013 pledge brother coming off the top rope with the hammer of truth. Preach.

I'm still puzzled. Is he trying to destroy the value in the company as a vanity project
That would be an expensive project. He’s got a billy a year in interest payments from this LBO. Twitter needs to start generating some cash.

they read and repeat, they cannot think independently.
Their overlords have them so terrified of being a "conspiracy theorist" that they have lost all confidence in their own cognitive ability.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that "massive drop in revenue" in the first week was not part of the plan.

His new $8/month plan would raise about 5% of current revenue (if you have the same number of verified people). I think he would need around 10 million Twitter blue members to service the new debt. He's counting on all sorts of new people paying to be "verified", but they're no longer going to be verifying identities, so it's basically going to be status-LARP'ing.

I'm sure he was totally blindsided by that, no way he or anyone on his team was smart enough to foresee that coming

Its a verification fee for blue check marks only..
What are his other plans?

It is funny watching you groomers get all giddy over your imagined business plan that Elon has for Twitter. You have no clue about the long term plans he has. NONE.
You're pissed because that platform can't do what every single one of you groomers dream of doing: cancel any form of speech you don't like, which is basically anything that goes against your sick world view.
I'm loving this.

Actually have a space for free speech that will bring in many more users and advertisers.

raise your hand if you don't particularly care what happens to twitter here either way.

yeah, he'll lose some, and pick some up.
TigerDoc was the biggest supporter of the conspiracy theory known as "Russian Collusion."
He's probably reading an opinion article to get his approved talking points on Elon.

Here.
Correct, it is a cesspool, thus the reason you see the most despicable posters on this site trying to bash Musk for doing what he is doing. They know one of their biggest avenues of propaganda is going away.
I mean, it isn't like they still have every other news outlet in America lying for them. Hell, we are still being told Pelosi's husband was attacked by a Trump supporter.
These people have no shame whatsoever.

Well you would know since you're in the business of acquiring and running companies.
