Potted meat is post-nuclear holocaust food only.

Vienna sausages, beanie wieinies, and spam. These are some quick can things I’ve consumed in my lifetime, but I’ve never tried potted meat.
A couple of packs of salted peanuts poured into a coke is damn good though.

White bread, a can of potted meat, mix a little Mayo into the can and you’ve got about 3 good sandwiches.

I'm in my fifties and never had potted meat or know anyone who has.
I'm no food snob. I love hogs head cheese, spam and a thick bologna slab sandwich.

I think I’m probably going to hate you.

Why are you spamming the board with this?

Example 1,432 that the OT is a bunch of 50+ old frickers these days. They have taken over the board.

This 100%. Were either the same age or from the same area or both.

Sounds like you missed a chance to wax poetic about not forgetting the food from yesteryears or else we'll be doomed to repeat it or something else where you scold him into feeling like a useless naive worm.

I’m with you baw, born and raised on it, still eat it from time to time.
Take those down votes with pride.
We keep a pallet of it and Vienna sausage handy during hurricane season, then we snack on it the rest of the year
Ever hear the old joke?
Q: You know what Vienna sausage is?
A: Potted meat on hard
That was killer in 5th grade

I’m not against potted meat, I’ve just never tried it. I may give it a whirl if I see some. I consider these deer camp snacks since I was growing up, my mind is open…

It’s funny how the Hawaiians have latched on to spam, they love that stuff.

You're a drama queen. Pathetic

Little Debbie oatmeal pie and a can of Vienna sausage was my after school snack for many years.
I use to drink the juice in the can. Makes me want to throw up now thinking about that.
