Glad you included the economic side of it. That seems to get lost in the shuffle.

Most of those considered "right wing extremists" in the US seem to focus on nationalism and ethnicism. Those are the common threads IMO?

What do you think characterizes American left-wing extremists?

Generally go hand in hand.

Those who would ignore national borders and ethnicities, and promote state control of capital.

The borders and state control of capital are spot on, but the American left extremists focus on ethnicities

Only insofar as to try to guarantee their rights the same Constitutional protections as the majority. ie, treat them like everyone else. The American left is obsessed with this such that in trying to protect rights of some, trample rights of others. The American right wing extremists would simply rather not have other ethnicities.

What country? Macedonia? Albania?

Small point, but Macedonia is a region of Greece, not a country.

I’ve always really respected the way Germany didn't raze those camps the first chance they got. They haven’t run from that part of their history.

They would be better off today if they had. They have wallowed in guilt and self-loathing for 80 years now. It has caused them to be on the precipice of losing their culture forever.

Conversely, both Croatia and Turkey run from their history and the world just gives them a pass. The Turks inspired Hitler, but we never seem to hear much about that.

Phillip might have said Greece was a region of Macedon.

Auschwitz and Lublin (Majdanek) are the only extermination camps that survived the war mostly intact. The other four were dismantled by the SS as the German army retreated from the Soviets.

Sobibor & Treblinka were razed to the ground, no buildings left, the "fields" planted over with trees & grass. Most of the mass graves in the "East" were planted over after the graves were exhumed & the remains burned on massive log fires. Many of the gas chambers & ovens were blown up near the end, but the brick remans were left scattered as they fell. The top thugs of the Nazis ran as fast away from their crimes as they could. The top 3-4 choosing the gutless way out by killing themselves. There was absolutely nothing resembling morals about the Nazis.

Just because you decide to pitch a tent in someone's backyard doesn't mean you get to stay forever. Just because many past administrations have turned a blind eye to non-violent illegals, doesn't mean they're not breaking the law.

Comparing the US and Nazi Germany is something people with smooth brains do.

I agree with all that.

Using your professional army within your own borders to address civil matters is something Nazis do. That's what I have a problem with, using the army. It really doesn't get any bigger government than that.

The lack of physical evidence, which you describe, is one of the major problems. 300k, the Red Cross figures can attest to. Millions, no.

When we were in Macedonia last summer, I spoke to a nice lady about this. Yes, they had to add "North" to the country name to appease the Greeks, but she remained adament that they were just "Macedonia". But that's really none of my business; Greece and Macedonia/North Macedonia have to settle that between themselves. Not our problem. It's a beautiful region and the people were very friendly.

The whole thing is a fraud and it's pathetic the way that they have been trying for decades now to appropriate Greek history and culture. The people living in FYROM are essentially Bulgarians and have a tough time coming to grips with the fact that there were no Slavs in the Balkans in the time of Phillip/Alexander. Her adamant insistence is precisely what I'm talking about.

Alexis Tsipras is a traitor and should have been hanged for ever entering into the Prespa Agreement and allowing this "North Macedonia" foolishness.

While you were in Skopje, did you get to see all their phony statues of Alexander and their other manufactured history? Their insistence that Slavs have any connection to the historical Macedonia is a laughable extension of a fraud launched by Tito during his rule.
