Anyone read this? I bought it on a whim b/c I've heard great things about it but it seems a little spacey.

Just curious anyones thoughts on it.

TIA

1. Book board
2. It’s been 15 minutes
3. It’s good. Very spacey as you called it though. Maybe not for everyone.

I read it while in rehab. If you practice it, it will improve your life. It’s hard to retrain your brain to constantly stay in or just simply be aware of the here and now. I had to read it twice to understand everything because I was coming out of a fog.

I read the other one — The New Earth. The ideas are simple and should be common sense but will blow your mind. It’s something you have to continually revisit if you want to actually incorporate the ideas into your life.

That said, I’ve heard Tolle is not quite as ‘Zen’ in real life as he promotes himself to be in his writings.

it's got some good practices in it and some "spacey" stuff you can skip. he has a lot of good points though, some people let this life get to them too much and don't stay in the moment. some people take everything too seriously.
basically, lighten up, be in the moment and frick the world

I don't know why, but every time I hear someone talk about this book I think about a book titled, "Be Here Now" that a girl I dated for a while gave me and tried to get me to read. I never read it.

I wish Tolle would lose it and start calling everyone the N word.

Yeah, that's it.

I kinda miss the girl who gave me that book. She was fun crazy. I may still have it around somewhere.
