DJ Professor Possum says GFY

*don't hire this guy for a wedding unless you like loading and unloading his equipment and then playing music off of your phone because none of his shite works

Yeah but that's the most recognizable DJ by anyone from Louisiana. Wouldn't be funny if it wasn't, but that just makes it even dumber

How many djs from LA have more music on Spotify? Y'all just don't like vocal breaks, edm snobs!

Come to the show tomorrow with me. It'll be fun.

I'm not a big DJ scene guy so I'll take your word for it. I just know during my MDMA phase DJ trashy was the only local DJ that had a big name

He is. These edm snobs don't like vocal breaks.Jarrell isn't even here anymore and neither he nor Cantrell have more songs on Spotify(nothing significant either way by a quick glance) and I don't believe either has a YouTube with any thing over 200k views. Results? Yea they are talented. But Trashy doesn't give a frick and has always stuck to the roots that Make Gulf Coast Techno what it is. We like our vocals in our edm. Particularly breakbeats. These other two guys are trancy boys trying to appeal to every thing South American as well. Trashy wins.

It's subjective. I think I made that clear. There's a reason Stevie B still sells out concerts right down the street from where Trashy grew up. Freestyle music and it's influence in later edm still remains. Just Preferences.

To each their own. On an international scale, Blake and Trent are miles ahead than Trashy.

If you want to go that route - DJ Redeye is from NOLA... but he got his jump in Dallas.

Totally agree that they are more relevant and keep up with edm trends. But like I said Trashy doesn't change his style. His latest release Collaboration 2 with Tekk in April is very classic vocal break. Here's one.
Away

Some of us appreciate that. And from Lafayette to Tampa old people like me love him.
