I worked at the airport for 4 years thru college. I had more than a couple of em. Used to get them in a big gallon pickle jar and take to parties after work.

Wasn't Lanny sponsored by Hanelines? They must have let him pick out a new leather jacket and a couple of turtlenecks every year. When I was a sophomore in h.s., my 2A team played Carroll in the Optimist Toy Bowl. Lanny came and did a report from our practice. Him being there was a pretty big deal for everyone in town.

Seems like the did sponsor him.

Does anyone know the title of the intro/outro song on SportScope?

How do they compare to the Jonesville or Ferriday Big Johns?

My ex g/f is from Houma and she doesn't realize how lucky she is her town is 95% the same as it was when she graduated HS.

Remember sunday after church in Forsythe Park? Everybody cruzin, playing football, chick scopin, water skiing, etc.. We had one helluva little town boys!

Ferriday Big Johns was better than the others back in the day. Jonesville, being the worst. There was one in Clayton the old man (Big John) ran for a while, in a gas station on Hwy 65, it was good, too.

The Big John burger and fries were always filling no matter where it was from.

I miss Monroe Willie Nelson concerts from when I was a kid. Somehow I caught a few at the civic center.
