Which is why it was lovingly nicknamed "Shits Hall"
When Marriott Food Services was the contract, it certainly was. It got better under Aramark, but it was still not great.
I ate at Coenen on my recruiting trip and it was solid. Too bad someone ruined that for everyone.

Anyone remember Stoneybridge from Ruston?

I know everyone in Stoneybridge.
Fun fact about Martie(the drummer). He is now the General Manager of the Triple A minor league baseball Omaha Storm Chasers.
Stoneybridge had a reunion show about 5 or 6 years ago in Ruston & it was like they had never stopped playing. It was fantastic.

Girl in dumpster was Brenda Spicer. Tillis testified in court that accused was with her ...he was found not guilty. Shortly after Tillis was found murdered on side of road... This time the same guy was convicted for murder

Came to St. Freds my senior year.
Ran us seniors into the ground after we had a party at my house. Kids throwing up and stuff. It was pretty ugly.
What year? I graduated 97

I was good friends with his youngest daughter and my best memory of him is going canoeing with him down the Buffalo River.. We were out of control and capsized about 8 times because we kept aiming for the most dangerous spots going down the river. ?
He was crazy..I was 16 so I was too. He had just won his first state championship right before we went so he was amped up.
He would do rolls if we scored a TD in his 60s lol
He was always a mess
Had a lot of good coached at St Fred

It's a crisp fall night in the early 1990's and NLU is playing NSU. My buddy, wearing an NLU sweater, is in line at the concession stand. None other than NSU alum Ed Orgeron, on an open date from his stint as DL coach at the University of Miami, comes up and wants to pick a fight with him
Witnessed a similar incident at an NSU/NLU game in Natchitoches, 1985 I believe. Orgeron is a GA at McNeese at the time. He is in line in the bathroom and assaults an NLU student. Campus security quickly escorted the angry YawYaw to the pokey. Probably killed his buzz.

Attended this institution of higher learning for 4 years. Made me who I am today.
I was talking to an older fried of mine who was telling me about all the nightclubs in Monroe in the mid 70's.
Even when I got up to drinking age around 1995 there was still many bars/nightclubs to party at. Top Gun, Honky Tonk, the alley, Some where else.
Now, it just seems like you have several local drinking places. Just the same old regulars day in and day out. I have no idea what the people 21-30 do now around here.
