A quick google shows that this is as old as 2014 and the ones being injured are young kids being influenced by fake videos mostly.

people are trading stories of jumping off their roofs, but no, this generation is the dumbest

Well most people, especially teens, can easily survive jumping off their roof. They can actually do it without getting injured at all, I did it when I was younger.

Pouring boiling water is fricking insanely stupid. Eating chemicals is also fricking stupid.

Just curious as I always am with these threads.
How many kids do you know that have done a pod challenge or snorted a condom? I’m sure it makes so many of you feel better for being stupid, but who is really doing any of this?
My teenager knows of nobody and none of the Mira friends know nothing. No person I am friends with knows of anyone who has done his.

We have a thread right now where people are trading stories of jumping off their roofs,

Jumping 10' onto sod isn't on the same level as pouring boiling water on people

Kids are just as stupid as ever, they just have a better way of exposing people to it

Oh I thought this would be about the people who jump out of moving cars dancing to some Drake song while the car still drives and they film themselves...

Saw it on the CBS television network news.

Which may or may not be fake, depending on the story

Now they have "the hot water challenge."
They pour boiling water on a unsuspecting friend.

I thought kids were doing this a couple of years ago. A girl died from it I believe.

I’m sure you did nothing stupid or potentially deadly when you were young

You're missing the bigger point. Riding bikes and jumping off rooves were an individual action wherein we had to endure the wrath of mom if we came home with a broken arm. Point me where a kid was pushed off the roof by another.

These kids are making stupid fricking choices but are involving others' well being.

If they want to do stupid shite, that's fine. They need to do it to themselves and not to another individual.

That's the difference.
