Guess kids are tired of eating tide pods and snorting condoms.
Now they have "the hot water challenge."
They pour boiling water on a unsuspecting friend. It's already caused 1 death a several injuries.
Wtf is wrong with kids and why can't
yt keep these vids off their site?

Why can they not do safe things like we did as kids, examples BB gun fights and making bombs out of sparklers.

All these “challenges” are like a handful of examples but get way overblown by the media.

We have a thread right now where people are trading stories of jumping off their roofs, but no, this generation is the dumbest.

That will get you 40 years.

quote:

A judge sentenced a Georgia man to 40 years in prison Wednesday for throwing boiled water on a gay couple sleeping in an apartment, leaving them with severe burns that required surgery.

quote:

Prosecutors said it was a vicious, premeditated attack. Tolbert testified that after pouring hot water on them, Blackwell grabbed him as he jumped and screamed in pain and told him: "Get out of my house with all that gay."

So new Time magazine wrote about it a year ago.

I’m sure you did nothing stupid or potentially deadly when you were young.

I cannot imagine if we had social media back in the day (late 80s-early 90s for me)

Back then we were free to roam with no trackable ties and zero tolerance was not a thing, so we would always get off with a warning.

We did really dumb and bad things.

They need attention and assurance that their friends accept them by getting as many likes and retweet’s as possible.

I never said I didn’t do anything stupid or dangerous. I pay for the stupid things I did every day.

But dumping boiling water on someone or setting someone on fire is a bridge farther than jumping off a roof

Whatever makes you sleep at night knowing you as a kid weren’t as dumb as these rascals jumping on your lawn nowadays.
