The British test pilot basically said the jets were unstoppable.

True, but the flip side was that they were so much faster than Allied aircraft that they couldn't do much damage either. They would slash into a bomber formation and have all of five seconds to do anything - basically unstoppable but also not very productive.

Did hitler ever shoot anyone??

And btw, I'm being serious... I know he had a temper and I know that he had a small handful of Jews and other nationalities killed off, but was there ever an instance of him pulling the trigger on someone?

Actually had a shite pile of Jewish descent killed off. Did he ever do anyone? Not sure. Everything I have read and learned about him leads me to think of him as cowardly when it would come to one on one stuff. He was a gentleman to his secretaries. A deceased friend of mine who used to be on faculty at Tulane Med School actually got to visit and dine with Hitler's last cook a couple of decades back when the guy was living in Ireland. The stories he came back with from that visit were interesting to say the least.

He was in the German trenches of WWI. It's a good possibility.

Forgot about this. Possibility, but have no idea. Again, he impressed as cowardly with one on ones.

The only person that I'm sure Hitler shot was himself. And actually, I'm not even sure about that! Maybe Eva Braun pulled the trigger...

I might be misremembering something I've seen or read, but I seem to recall that Hitler was a message runner/courier at one point during WWI. It wasn't the same as "going over the top", but it was regarded as a dangerous job and required some balls.

Do you think Hitler would've hesitated detonating one in France, Italy and a couple in Russia after D-Day? He could've wiped out huge chunks of the Russian and Allied armies in 1 day. That would've froze all advances and given him time to regroup for a counter attack using nukes in a blitzkrieg. Don't think for a second he would've given a damn about the health of most of his troops storming through an atomic fall out.
This is talking as if any country was mass producing atomic bombs. Even if Germany had built some, it wouldn't have been several bombs. They probably couldn't have made more than 2, and that would have been a stretch.
