Every few months a patron would bring a book to me and ask me to take it off the shelf because it had magic in it, or the word frick, or penis, or vagina, or a racial slur or a gay couple in it, or a swastika, etc.
Just trying to cover all bases. The children’s section and school libraries should of course be held to a different standard - but if I want to read about gay Nazi penises I should be able to. (Just a joke)

Where do I even begin?? The overwhelming support that my family and myself have received is unbelievable! I've never felt so scared, yet reassured in my life. It's truly a whirlwind of emotions!
We are currently doing okay. No one has been harmed, and we are getting by. We are taking the proper procedures in order to stay safe from these constant threats. I'm still very frightened, and I don't think I will feel safe until we can escape completely.
I am so grateful to all of you who have donated to my family. I never would have imagined that we would be supported to such an extreme. It still feel as if it's too good to be true, and it's all going to disappear. It's such a strange feeling to be living in a blissful dream and a nightmare simultaneously.

Wow....this thread. Just when I think all of the racism/hate stuff is made up...people are actually giving anyone involved in this scenario money!?
1) Mom who curses at 5 year old and in front of her own son. Disgusting/Trashy
2) Childless pedophile at the park. Should be arrested
3) Supporting calling a 5 year old a racial slur, or even a "thief" at 5. Just terrible.
3) Donating money to either cause. Asinine.
Imagine your kid stealing another kid's blocks at daycare and the teacher calling her a bitch....and then being rewarded with 500K. What a circus.

A. If that kid is 5 they should be getting NIL offers from D1 schools because 6’5” is the floor based on their height.
B. This is not about some trash mom dropping an N bomb. The further you pull a rubber band, the harder it snaps back. I commend white people for lasting this long, shows immense self control.
