The “ministers” on Sherwood and Coursey

Great idea

The best repellent? A dog who doesn’t like people coming up to the truck. One minister at highland and airline started approaching me from a few cars ahead, I started shaking my head no but he decided to be persistent and kept walking up. He got about a foot from my truck, and as soon as I said “dog” my lab stuck her head out the back window andlost her mind on him. It’s amazing to see how nimble some big fellas are.

The ones that I have problems with are the ones who travel across town and stand in the intersections asking for donations for their sports teams. Especially, when the old raggedy adults are sitting in the parking lot in their cars while young kids are dodging cars to ask for some change for their teams. If they're truly trying to raise money for their team, there are better ways than putting kids in the middle of an intersection.

Also, I sometimes see some in various places in BR that are old and asking for money for various reasons that usually seem kind of strange to me. Sometimes, I can't help but think they're just like (or are) panhandlers, who just got a yellow construction vest and a jar and are using the money for themselves and just give a bullshite cause to make it sound better.

Anyways, like I was saying, I wouldn't mind donating to some kid's teams who maybe don't have the means of others, as I don't have kids of my own and wouldn't mind helping if I can and the reason is legit. But, when I see them in the middle of the road off airline and siegen or a similar intersection, I can't help but think their parents must be POS to have them out their in such dangerous intersections.
