tbh if I wanted to get out of NOLA that bad (which I completely get, the place is a clusterfrick), I'd just go to a houston or dallas suburb
culturally-speaking, that's pretyy much what most of the northshore is, imho. feels like sugar land or the woodlands
it's nice but if you're bout that suburb life, why not go where there's better jobs and no state income tax?
