So, I occasionally watch this podcast called "Ninjas are Butterflies". They do conspiracy theory stuff, ancient earth, hollow earth, etc. They're fun, wholesome and pretty entertaining. I would recommend.

The other day, they did an episode about the Mandela Effect and how it was an experiment to discover if you can make a population believe something that they know is not true.

Short

They discussed the two Mandela Effects that I believe 100% are ops. The Berenstain Bears and the Cornucopia on Fruit of the Loom.

Berenstain Bears were Bernstein Bears for me. I remember when people first started saying it was always Berenstain. I remember thinking they changed the name due to a licensing or copyright dispute.

The reason I know it was Bernstein is because my mother was a librarian and a stickler for pronunciation. If it was Berenstain, she would have read it to me as Berenstain. She read it as Bernstein and that's how I learned to pronounce it.

The Cornucopia. Yes, I remember the Fruit of the Loom logo having a Cornucopia. I know they say that there was an offbrand t-shirt company that used a cornucopia. But, what doesn't make sense is the fact that a large part of the population of a certain age -- regardless of socio economic status and education -- knows what the frick a cornucopia or horn of plenty is. This is not a common word. It's not used in everyday conversation. But say cornucopia and anyone over 35 knows what you mean. How? Did we learn it in school? I don't remember that lesson.

A pet one of mine is I swear to God on high that either Edge or Christian of the WWE died and I watched the tribute show. But they are both alive.

We can see an example now of people being convinced that what they know is true, what they saw with their own eyes and heard with their ears is false. That the covid vaccine was never marketed as a means to stop transmission and infection. If you get the shot, you don't get covid. But now, they are saying they never said that. It was always just to reduce symptoms. Because...that's been the definition of vaccine all along.

So, is it an op? Or did we all skip over a dimension in 2012 when CERN fired up?

Berenstain is correct.

There was a cornucopia in the logo.

The one that made me believe this is real: Melbourne was always the capital of Australia. Never even heard of Canberra until a year ago.

And I placed in the top 3 in State Geography bee all 3 years of middle school.

Plus: Carmen Sandiego taught us it was Melbourne

Dont go bringing more mind-fricks in the thread.

One mind-frick per thread.

No, but in the 80's, T-giving and cornucopias were kind of synonymous.

It's possible, but I don't think so. I just came back to this site a few months ago after a multi year hiatus. Maybe someone else?

To be honest, no. We always had a centerpiece, but no just pulled out a woven horn and threw some apples and grapes in there. It was normally artfully arranged flowers and autumn leaves.

Maybe you're the one from the alternate dimension.

I am open to that possibility.

Are we the result of two dimensions smashing together and a percentage having subtly different memories?

The kids at your middle school blew at geography.

People have been erasing history ever since new people came along after the older people. Some intentional. Most usually not. Very little “ops” like you say, Mr. Tinfoil

It’s what people want to believe.

I can go troll our poli board all day with made up stuff about the 2020 election, but it’s cruel to do so.

Ops by whom? And did the people conducting those ops break into houses to change out all existing books, or just some select houses? Because I can go in my daughter’s room right now and pull a book, bought in the 80s that I’ve had my whole life, off the shelf and it will say “Berenstain.”

Nothing is too cruel for those jackasses. Some of the cruelest people I’ve ever encountered over there

The Illuminati of course.

Honestly, nothing's that serious. I'm bored and can't sleep, so I thought this conversation would be fun.

I have very real memories that contradict what I'm told is true. But maybe the other poster is right, I and the others were the ones that hopped in 2012. In my home dimension there are 100,000s of people insisting that it was Berenstain not Bernstein.
