Turn off the fricking news.

Get off social media. Turn off the news. Go outside. Exercise.
You will feel much better and realize that the world is just fine.

A lot of superfluous and cumbersome language going on here.

Just keep in mind that there is still a huge swath of this country that isn't all that polarized. Or at least they're not invested in the polarization.
We go to a running trail everyday, used by black and white people. Everyone is cordial and living life, and it's really weird in light of how things appear on TV.
These riots will end, and people will go back to their lives for the most part. And that's because people (even a lot of left-leaning folks) are more focused on their 401k or their kid's summer camp, or travel ball, or buying a new car.
People have lives to live and shite to do and they'll get back to it before long.

Cut off the new, cut off social media (including TD, at least the Poliboard and tOT) avoid conversations about all the shite going on. You will feel better in a couple of days.

Gotta detach yourself from the world. Find a place of peace, let everyone else fight it out.

I feel the exact same way and like you never usually let things get to me because I’m too busy Taking care of my own family.
My wife is worried about me because she hasn’t seen me like this before.
I have a hard time believing anything I see or hear in the news, from our politicians, or social media.
It’s a bad feeling the America we grew to love will not be here in 25-30 years.
