It is very obvious that this has become political when you see Democrat leaders (governors, mayors) being far more restrictive than Republican leaders in general. Even leftist Hollywood is fighting re-opening.

I suppose so. But that doesn't really address how Edwards has more or less been working in cahoots with Trump in dealing with Louisiana's response. Do people really think that Edwards' actions are purely to make Trump look bad? That makes no logical sense. He of course has an ego and has his own reputation to worry about. Purposefully tanking the economy of his own state probably isn't a great look.
