Meh. Salt has received a lot of unfair criticism too.

If you're this guy's dad's age and 280 lbs, you absolutely need to chill out on the sodium.

There isn't a western world doctor that would disagree with that

Known by whom? You're using antiquated info

I don’t even eat meat and I agree with HT.

Not shitting is not healthy.

I legit cannot fathom not eating meat, but my best buddy from high school went pescatarian and swears he's never felt so good in his entire life

The same Western World doctors whose recommendations have been at the forefront of the obesity epidemic and continued rise in adverse public health effects? You'll excuse me if I take their advice with a grain of salt (pun intended).

Look a guy that large may very well have hypertension and other health concerns, but his salt intake probably isn't the cause.

I used to think that too. It was hard for a week. Cheese cravings lasted for months.

It’s definitely not for everyone. Once I gave it up I lost the taste and the cravings after about three weeks. Now I grill it and don’t even think twice. It made my body better and I’m stronger than I was before. Granted not everyone will feel that way. Don’t fall for the Game Changers bullshite.

Because you're dead wrong if you think otherwise.

I find the obsession with bowel movements to be a little odd. If you're eating foods that are digested more fully, you're going to have less waste to get rid of.

brother PLEASE release yourself from this, you must know that this isn't good for you, right???

here's my hot take of the day: people are supposed to poop

I poop every day now. It constipated me when I first started the diet though.

Also, I'm not fat and wasn't fat when I started doing lazy keto. I'm 6'4", 205 pounds. Was 230 pounds when I started lazy keto 3 years ago. That meal does look good though, minus the carrots.

The same western world doctors who largely agree now with the keto fans on here about fat. Soooo....

Definitely not the cause but if you're engine's on fire, best not pour more gasoline in the tank.

Point being that sodium moderation is still very much a part of modern science.

Decades old science. Thanks for that. It's 2020. Try looking into something more recent.

I've read some absolute horror stories about what red meat can do to a man over 40+ years, or about all the bad shite they put in chicken you get at the grocery store

where would you say you get most of your energy and stuff from? beans/lentils?

keep in mind, I'm a distance runner, I average ~15+ miles/week running. I'm already hungry all the time

Nah. Still a minority view. See the CDC link that was just posted for what is still prevalent.

I’ll occasionally do 70% dark for a treat. It is delicious.
