Well we did eliminate the dictator that was suppressing extremists groups like them. So it kind of is our fault, plus we did put that dictator into power in the first place, so it definitely is our fault. Basically if we just would have let those people to their own sandy shite box we wouldn't be dealing with this shite today.

That was a really good piece. ISIS has mostly faded from the headlines here with Trump and his antics dominating the news.
It's all good to say bomb em all when it's half a world away and not your city. Lots of civilians stuck there.
It's not a black and white answer.
There is no doubt that ISIS is close to defeat but will it spawn next? War is never going to solve the issue.
It's a fundamental issue of ignorance and poverty. Poor, uneducated people brainwashed by a medieval religion and a thug army of criminals hiding behind Islam.

None of this would've happened if we'd just bring them to America and give them hugs and jobs

There hasn't been much ISIS stuff in the news since we dropped that MOAB.

Assad's a bad guy, but the alternative is worse. GHWB put it best: A secular lunatic is easier to deal with than a religious lunatic.
