What are you taking about? He said he left from Laffayette.

btw, it's a solid 4 hours from Baton Rouge to Orange Beach and that's not stopping and light traffic.

quote:

Baton Rouge to Orange Beach is no more than 4 hours normally. Ive made it in 3 Hrs 40 minutes going no faster than 80.

What did I say that contradicts that? I actually agree with you.

And all I said is so it took an extra hour, maybe I should have said and extra hour and a half. WTF do you expect on Labor Day Weekend?

I'm gong to Grand Isle tomorrow, I'm hoping it only takes me 2 hours, but I won't cry if it takes me 2.5 hours.

Your math is terrible. You were 1.5 hours off. Not .5

Man,

This thread is full of pissed off nerds arguing about trip times. They prolly sat in a bunch of traffic today.

It's cool, we all did.

was an easy drive from BR to GS last night. Why we leave on Thursday.

GS was a better choice this weekend. We left Thursday but got caught in an accident at the Florida border involving 2 jack knifed 18 wheelers.

But you went through Baton Rouge. Getting to the state line takes you about the same time no matter which way you go.

DAFAQ? You being serious?

30 minute difference if no traffic in Nola. I12 doesn't have much traffic except for a major accident.

I had to run up to Foley's Home Depot yesterday and there was not hardly a car on the Beach expressway about 2:30. I still can't believe how little people use it , especially the locals who know it's there.

people bitching are the people that can't afford to go during the summer so they wait until Labor Day thinking it will be cheaper and less crowded but little do they know there are thousands of them thinking the same thing.

Not just the poors. Thursday night DST had planes flying holding patterns because so many were coming in at one time.
