Anyone here lived there recently? I just got a job offer near downtown. I'm in Prairieville now and would like to move nearby before I-10 traffic returns to normal and the Heron is my favorite out of the places I've seen so far.

They look nice. Probably expensive. I’d live there.

Why not just stay in p-ville and commute? I don’t understand the move?

I toured them a couple years ago when I was looking at places to live. I was really tempted. Expensive but super nice. I ended up renting a house in mid city instead.

Why not Cap Heights or somewhere off of Government/North BLVD

I'd like to get away before interstate traffic returns to normal and the construction at the 10/12 split starts.

Supposed to be pretty nice. Go check them out.

Easy walk to 3rd street and the big downtown employers. Not far from the levee trail. Big secure parking deck. Potentially decent view if you get an upper floor.

I’d rather live there than off of Corporate or Jefferson, especially if I worked downtown. I’d pull the trigger if you can afford the rent.

It’s about a block from North Blvd.

They are nice but expensive. Give them a try for 6 months.

I like the idea of living downtown if you work in the area. You won’t be able to enjoy that kind of convenience when you get older and start having kids.
