It is the opposite. Texas just had a forced 1 week quarantine. A true quarantine, not the half arse ones we had where Karen thinks wearing a bedazzled mask makes her immune.
The numbers will come back up, but probably not much until late March after Spring Breaks.

Very true. Even our "essential" fast food workers and TikTok nurses had to stay home.
It will be interesting to see how the charts go across the various Southern States. The positivity rates in Texas were already starting to drop.

After Laura no one wore a mask, no one isolated themselves (in fact more people were in contact since most people were helping family friends and neighbors), and there was no social distancing at the many long lines where food was being handed out.
And no hurricane bump ever came. Weird.

I went out. Not close to what I would call a true quarantine, but about as good as we had at the start of Covid
